Frequently Asked Questions
How we work, what we sell, and what to expect when you buy from us.
We are a Canadian liquidation retailer — 16629121 Canada Inc. DBA Sales Online Canada. We purchase Amazon customer return pallets, warehouse closeouts, and surplus inventory, then sort, test, and resell individual items to Canadian buyers at discount prices. Think of us as the buyers who break apart liquidation lots and save you the pallet-buying risk.
Most items are used, open-box, or Amazon returns. We describe condition accurately on every listing — if it's tested and working, we say so. If there are cosmetic flaws, we document them. If the return reason was 'changed mind' versus 'defective', we note the difference. We do not sell items as new unless they are genuinely factory sealed.
Electronics are powered on and functional inputs/outputs checked. Gaming consoles are booted and tested with a game. Printers do a test print. Receivers have all inputs and the FM tuner tested. Tools are run through basic operational tests. We document what we checked and the results on each listing.
Yes. We ship to all provinces and territories. Some large or heavy items (like CRT televisions, heavy furniture) are listed as local pickup only — this is noted clearly on those listings. Standard items ship via Canada Post or courier at flat rates calculated at checkout.
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery after shipping: British Columbia 2–5 days; Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba 4–7 days; Ontario and Quebec 5–10 days; Atlantic provinces and territories 7–14 days. These are estimates, not guarantees.
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery if an item does not match the description on the listing. If we said it works and it doesn't, we'll refund including return shipping. If the condition was accurately described and you changed your mind, return shipping is at your cost. Contact us first — we resolve issues quickly.
Yes. We list on eBay Canada and Amazon.ca as well as this site. If you find us on one of those platforms and prefer to transact there, that's completely fine. Some items appear only on eBay or Amazon depending on the category and what listing format makes sense.
Yes — local pickup is available and encouraged for heavy items like CRT TVs or large furniture. Contact us through the site to arrange a pickup time and location. Some items are listed as local pickup only and cannot be shipped.
Electronics (vintage stereo receivers, CRT TVs, printers, devices), gaming (consoles, games, controllers), vintage kitchen (Pyrex, Corelle, cast iron, small appliances), tools (power tools, socket sets, hand tools), collectibles (film cameras, hockey cards, die-cast models), furniture, and automotive accessories. Inventory rotates weekly based on what's on the pallets.
Occasionally, yes. If you're interested in purchasing a partial lot or mixed lot rather than individual items, contact us and we can discuss what's available. We sometimes sell unsorted mixed lots at further discount for buyers who enjoy the treasure-hunt aspect.
Contact us at sales@salesonlinecanada.ca with your order number and photos of the damage as soon as possible. We will arrange a refund or replacement. We pack items carefully, but transit damage happens and we stand behind every order.
We test and describe accurately, which thrift stores rarely do. You know what you're getting before you buy. We also carry items in categories you don't typically find thrift shopping — liquidation lots skew toward returns from large platforms, which means consumer electronics, tools, and specific product categories in quantity.
